ACTIU: THE VALUE OF WORKING WITH WELL-BEING

Last Friday, we visited Actiu’s technology park in Castalla (Alicante), where we had the opportunity to visit their impressive 400,000-square-meter facilities. While their primary focus is the manufacturing of office, hotel, public, and educational furniture, Actiu's impact extends far beyond that, with an international presence.

During our visit, we attended two conferences, both very interesting. The first was dedicated to Neuroarchitecture: Science and Design for Well-Being, and the second focused on the WELL certification system. These sessions explored how neuroarchitecture can transform spaces to enhance well-being, productivity, and health by analyzing how design influences emotions and behavior.

It was no coincidence that this event took place at Actiu. The company was the first European firm to be recognised with the WELL System Platinum label, the highest distinction granted, recognizing excellence in aligning building design with human well-being.

The event was organized by the Official Colleges of Architects of Valencia and Alicante.

And finally we would like to thank Soledat Berbegal and Vicent Berbegal  for their warm welcome. It was a pleasure to take part in this event, and we look forward to meeting them again.
